Do you have Vincentians that are looking for opportunities to serve but are not interested in home visits?

There are many Vincentians who volunteer at our Thrift Store regularly working alongside our staff to help prepare gently-used clothing and household items for our store customers.  Many of the Vincentians volunteer because they enjoy being at the store with other volunteers and staff knowing they too are helping our dear neighbors find low cost clothing and household items for their families.   Most have indicated they are not interested in home visits or working directly with our “Dear Neighbors” but by volunteering at the Thrift Store they are fulfilling their Vincentian spirit to help.  We greatly appreciate these volunteers and always welcome new Vincentian volunteers. 

Volunteers help us keep our costs down thereby providing more funds for special projects for our dear neighbors.  At the same time though, the St. Vincent de Paul Council Thrift Store is providing opportunities for Vincentians to earn funds for their Conference by volunteering at our Toledo store.  The store is located at 5311 Airport Hwy – Toledo, OH  43615 

The store hours are 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturdays.  We are closed on Sunday.  Vincentians can work a few hours a day or all day; weekly, twice a month, monthly, or whatever works in their schedule.
